The third free practice was difficult for the drivers due to  harsh weather conditions, as five drivers remained in the pit lanes, among them was Verstappen. Valtteri Bottas was the fastest driver in FP3, while Lewis Hamilton didn’t find the pace and did the 12th fastest time.

Carlos Sainz Jr. and Charles Leclerc set the second and the third fastest time respectively. Fernando Alonso was the fourth quickest driver in FP3 and left behind Sebastian Vettel.

Daniel Ricciardo was the tenth fastest driver and had a spin during this practice, while Kimi Raikkonen couldn’t find the pace to push and set the 13th fastest time.

Ok, off topic for this story. But I just can't wait to vent my thoughts of the irony for the reasoning behind Ricciardo not being able to join Ferrari. Apparently Ricciardo is deemed too good to join, Vettel is blocking the move, just like he's deemed as too good to sit next to Hamilton. (Yeah, it has been said that the leadership at Ferrari is not keen on Ricciardo's personality.... please, come up with something better than that. How can you not bee keen on that Aussie's personality.) But they (read Vettel) are apparently ok with Leclerc joining Ferrari.... the way Leclerc is going it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he joins Ferrari and OWNS Vettel. Vettel should pray for Ricciardo to join and not Leclerc....

    • I hear ya, and I agree, its tedious that they and Merc are caving in for their pet divas.
