Red Bull have confirmed their line-up for next week's in-season test, as full-time driver Daniel Ricciardo and young driver Pierre Gasly will share duties during the two days of rare and precious testing.
Speaking to Channel 4 over during the second practice session in Bahrain, team principal Christian Horner confirmed that the before mentioned drivers would be sticking around Sakhir following the Grand Prix to take part in the two-day test.
Gasly was tipped for a race seat with Toro Rosso for this season, however, the team decided to retain Daniil Kvyat. The Frenchman won the 2016 GP2 championship and is currently competing in Super Formula in Japan.
Ricciardo is an experienced driver, racing in his fourth year for Red Bull, with 111 Grand Prix starts. The two days of testing is a good opportunity for teams to test out new parts and find out more about their cars.
