F1Today.net will be bringing you live timings and live updates from the paddock in Barcelona for pre-season testing which will get underway tomorrow which will be the first time the teams get to test their new cars.
Formula 1 wakes from hibernation and we will once again hear the roar of the V6 engines around a race track, where teams will be flat out gathering data. This week was launch week, which got many fans' hearts pumping and got the excitement running.
When it comes to predicting the pecking order, it's plucking at straws. The new regulations are supposedly a clean slate for all teams, but Mercedes remain favourite to take the title again this season for the fourth consecutive year.
Red Bull are favourites to challenge them, as an aerodynamic overhaul plays right into their strengths. Ferrari will also be hoping to get back to winning ways, having not won a race since Singapore 2015.
The first test will very much be coming to grips with the new regulations for all the teams, and also looking at reliability. During the second week, they will focus on pure speed and looking at how they compare to others.
We are of course, for the 14th year in a row attending pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Photographer Ronald Fleurbaaij will be with us to shoot the best photos. For the best unique pictures, quick and fast updates, follow F1Today.net throughout the two weeks of pre-season testing.
