Lucas di Grassi has taken his first ever pole position in Formula E as he came across the line fastest, setting a lap time of 1 minute 09.404.
Super Pole was hindered by a sudden lack of grip, causing many drivers to produce massive lock ups. Di Grassi kept his lap clean and despite not pushing his hardest, will start the ePrix from pole.
Jean-Eric Vergne joins di Grassi on the front row, while filling out row two is championship leader Sebastian Buemi and Oliver Turvey, who will start the race from third and fourth respectively.
Fifth was Nelson Piquet Jr, followed by Nicolas Prost and Mitch Evans, with both of the latter mentioned drivers missing out on Super Pole by the smallest of margins.
Swede Felix Rosenqvist comes next, while a decent performance from Jerome D'Ambrosio sees him line up ninth. Completing the top ten was Sam Bird in his DS Virgin.
Outside the top ten, Stephane Sarrazin will line up eleventh, and alongside him on the sixth row is Nick Heidfeld. After showing initial promise, Robin Frijns will start from only thirteenth, with Frenchman Loic Duval lining up beside him in fourteenth.
Fifteenth saw a disappointing performance from Adam Carroll, while Daniel Abt will be trying to forget his team mate is on pole as he starts from sixteenth.
Antonio Felix da Costa's atrocious weekend continues as he ran into issues and will start seventeenth. Home boy and local fan favourite Jose Maria Lopez crashed in the first part of qualifying and will watch the lights from eighteenth, despite showing some rapid pace.
Ma Qing Hua also crashed out in his group qualifying, meaning he will line up on the back row, ahead of Maro Engel who ran into electrical problems and failed to set any sort of a competitive lap.
