Starting grid for the 2018 Russian Grand Prix

Valtteri Bottas claimed an unlikely pole position for the Russian Grand Prix, beating teammate Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton failed to improve on his final lap, even making a mistake going through Turn 7.

Ferrari fills out the second row and will be hoping to jump Mercedes at the start of the race. With just six races left to run, the Italian manufacturer will have to start getting the better of Mercedes in order to claim its first championship in 10 years.
