Formula 1 has added to its digital expansion by announcing an F1 Live Show, hosted exclusively on Twitter. The show will commence at the next round in Spain and will feature at a further nine races throughout the 2018 season.
The show will go on-air following the celebrations on the podium after the Grand Prix has concluded. The show will be hosted by leading broadcaster Will Buxton, who will be joined by "F1 legends" as co-hosts. The shows will feature interviews with drivers and team personnel and analysis from the race.
F1's current twitter page has over 3.5 million followers, The show will be available globally, with no geo-blocking. One such co-host on the show will be 2016 F1 world champion Nico Rosberg, who says he is delighted to join the programme.
"It is good to see the new direction of F1 across digital, as a key channel to engage with fans and future fans of the sport," Rosberg said. "I was delighted to join this programme when F1 asked me to participate. I love F1 and I believe that we can grow the sport through digital engagement. The Twitter live show is a terrific step forward."

Just focus on getting F1 TV up. And while you are at it, scrap that monopoly Viasat has. They are rubbish and they know it, and thus they cling to that monopoly like I cling to my hopes of a better Honda F1 performance.

Very glad to see how actively Liberty is increasing their online presence. For example I can now go on YouTube and see highlights from the race. A couple of years earlier, if I missed the race I had to find some seriously shady sites to get some videos, interviews, etc. The instagram account regularly post pretty good content. I'm not on Twitter, but I'll try and check this out. Was never a big fan of Nico Rosberg, but I'm not some fool who will turn away simply because he's in either
