Sebastian Vettel was quickest in FP3 as Ferrari showed their pace going into today's qualifying session. The Ferrari man was three tenths quicker than second placed Lewis Hamilton with Kimi Raikkonen in third. Ferrari and Mercedes seemed to be the quickest two cars in this session, pulling away from Red Bull who only managed fourth and twelfth, although neither car set a representative lap time.

Vettel's lap time seemed to set an ominous pace for the rest of the top six, but the field will still be optimistic to challenge the Ferrari in the race, with Red Bull especially looking like they have the race pace to challenge for a second victory of the season.

Sergio Perez was the quickest of the midfield drivers in 6th, as the teams resurgence this weekend continues, with a solid 9th for teammate Esteban Ocon confirming their pace, and the Mexican will be hoping to get his first points of the season on the board this weekend after a disappointing start to the season thus far.

Williams had a surprisingly good session managing to get both cars in the top ten, which will bode well for the weekend, however Sergey Sirotkin will have been disappointed to crash out of the session with only seven minutes remaining of the session, leaving a question over whether he will be ready for qualifying later today.

The usual front runners of the midfield in Haas, Renault and McLaren all had mixed sessions, with Renault having a very disappointing session in particular, only managing to claim 16th and 17th whilst the McLaren of Stoffel Vandoorne continued his disappointing weekend managing only 18th in the session and will all be wanting to improve in the battle for points come Sunday.
