Robert Kubica has urged the media to move on from the story about his physical "limitations". After seven years out of F1 following his horror rallying crash, the Pole is up and running in his new test and Friday practice role with Williams in Barcelona.
But he expressed irritation with reporters' constant questions about his physical limitations: "I've always been comfortable," he is quoted by Brazil's Globo. "Only the media says I was not comfortable. If I can jump in the car and do my job, I think that's enough.
"The problem is that I was very honest, and then people kept asking the same questions. And if I get in the car, you're going to keep saying I have limitations. Of course I have limitations, but I never hid that from anyone. We should stop talking about it," said the former BMW and Renault driver.

I can understand that that must be a drag, but telling media to do something is like telling me to stop fanboying Honda. Its literally not possible.

Since you brought the subject though, how come the love for Honda and hatred for McLaren?

Believe it or not, I am a McLaren fan. Have been for 17 years. I dont hate McLaren now, but I am tired of the way they've overpromised and asked for hype where they needed patience. My critique and wearyness of McLaren is a result of love rather than hate. Honda underperformed for sure, but during Hasegawa's time as head of the project there were no promises of huge leaps, just a careful optimism and goals. I can do with that. I cant do with talk of "this year the engine is good", "this year we will move to the front" without knowing anything about the situation. Besides, I've seen Honda deliver in other series. It doesnt mean that they will succeed in F1, mind, but they have the potential to do so.
Its the same with Sony: I used to always have Sony phones, I still have my Z5 compact. I preferred their design, camera and superior water resistance, but with the way they've changed the Xperia series with the recently unveiled XZ2 (no 3.5mm jack, to mention one thing), I will likely move over to Samsung.
In short: I love Honda and still like McLaren, but while this is pretty much the Honda I grew to love, this isnt the same McLaren. I dont dislike McLaren now, but Im pretty worn out of them right now. But as I've said before: I ultimately hope this split will benefit them both.
