Felipe Massa last weekend announced his retirement from Formula 1 at the end of the 2017 season, a declaration that was expected by many. The upcoming Brazilian Grand Prix will be his last at home, before ending his career in Abu Dhabi.
12 months ago, Massa thought his career was over after retiring, only to be brought back by Williams when Valtteri Bottas departed for Mercedes. However, he has assured the motorsport world that this time, he will not be returning.
Tributes have flooded in for the 11-time race winner, who spent much of his career at Ferrari.
