Forbes has released the list which states the highest paid athletes in the world. Formula 1's Lewis Hamilton comes in at number ten on the list, sitting just behind James Harden and Stephen Curry. The Brit has an annual pay of $46m, with $38m coming from his salary/winnings.
The other $8m is paid to Hamilton from endorsements. The next Formula 1 driver that is featured on the list is Sebastian Vettel. The four-time world champion sits fourteenth, with an annual salary of $38.5m.
Fernando Alonso also features in the list, as the Spaniard is number twenty. His pay his $36m per annum. No other Formula 1 drivers feature on the on the column, however, NASCAR's Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnston come in at number ninety-three and one-hundred respectively.
