Fernando Alonso was earlier announced as a driver at this year's Indy 500 and will, therefore, miss out on the Monaco Grand Prix. However, the Spaniard doesn't seem worried as he tells fans his thoughts on the move.
The deal is certainly a positive one, not just for him but for motorsport as a whole as it shows there is a bridge between different racing categories, and drivers do not need to be limited to one major series per year.
There has been no word on who will take over Alonso's seat in Monaco, however veteran Jenson Button remains the favourite to come back.
