Pascal Wehrlein will return to Sauber for the second week of pre-season testing, after being cleared of a lingering injury suffered at the Race of Champions.
The German flipped his vehicle while racing Williams' driver Felipe Massa in Miami earlier in the year, and was ruled out of the first week of testing on the basis of precaution. Ferrari reserve driver Antonio Giovinazzi stood in his place, driving the Sauber C36 last week.
However, Wehrlein has now been cleared to return and is also expected to be taking the car to track tomorrow, the first day of the second week of testing. Giovinazzi will also be on stand-by in case Wehrlein suffers any complications.
