Lewis Hamilton has expressed optimism ahead of the 2017 season, as he looks to bounce back from title defeat in the 2016 season finale to now-retired team mate Nico Rosberg.
Speaking in two videos the three-time champion he posted on his social media pages, Hamilton spoke of "an amazing meeting" with team boss Toto Wolff, as the pair discussed their plans "to be the strongest partnership" in 2017.
"Hi everyone, we're in Toto's kitchen. We just had an amazing meeting," Hamilton said. "I just wanted to send you all a message out, let you know that we're going to be the strongest partnership next year, and we look forward to fighting for this championship again. Hope you're all well."
"Hi everybody. We spent a good couple of hours together, we had a really fantastic meeting. We'll be coming back so strong in 2017," Wolff added in a second video.
Mercedes are currently searching for a replacement for Rosberg, with Toto Wolf-managed Valtteri Bottas and Mercedes junior Pascal Wehrlein believed to be the front runners.
