Lewis Hamilton topped the final practice session of the weekend, setting the fastest lap time of the weekend.
The Brit edged a charging Max Verstappen by four tenths of a second, while his team mate Nico Rosberg was six tenths back in third.
Ferrari duo Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel rounded out the top five, beating Daniel Ricciardo whose early lap was a second off Hamilton's chart-topping time.
Nico Hulkenberg was seventh fastest, ahead of Valtteri Bottas and Carlos Sainz who set time late in the session to move up the standings.
Felipe Massa completed the top 10, ahead of Sergio Perez, Jenson Button, and the Haas' Esteban Gutierrez.
Jolyon Palmer split the Haas duo in 14th, with his Renault team mat in 16th.
Daniil Kvyatt was 17th fastest, ahead of both Sauber drivers, while Esteban Ocon and Pascal Wherlein were at the bottom of the charts.
However, both Manor drivers finished ahead of Fernando Alonso who focussed on race setup as he will start tomorrow's Grand Prix from the back of the grid.
