Nico Rosberg has dominated the first day of the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps. The German set the fastest time in first free practice and lowered the bar to a 1:49.385 in the second session. The gap to team mate Lewis Hamilton was three tenths. Rosberg had a scary moment though, when his right rear tyre exploded on the way to Blanchimont. He kept his car out of the barriers, which can't be said of Marcus Ericsson, who crashed in Turn 11.

You could see it already in FP1, WTF is up with Red Bull? Just realized they have not complained as much about Renault as they did before, but if this is an indication of their race pace then Ferrari will not have a very good day. No idea who did what on which tyres and what fuel load but this is a bit of a surprise.
And Hulkenberg, the exact same time as Raikkonen... amazing... Go Hulk ;)
And Sauber... , again no info about tyres or fuel load but if this says something about their performance with the new Ferrari spec engine then this could be a very good race for them. Can't wait to see qualifying :)
