As he prepares for the new season, Valtteri Bottas says that he is happy to have two time world champion Mika Hakkinen advising him for the year ahead.
Hakkinen drove for McLaren almost two decades ago, where he won championships in 1998 and 1999, and now works alongside fellow Finn Valtteri Bottas.
Bottas will race for Mercedes, replacing world champion Nico Rosberg. Hakkinen is now a prominent member of Bottas' backroom staff, especially now that Toto Wolff has taken a step back.
Asked if he is happy to have Hakkinen in his corner, Bottas said: "Mika's experience will definitely be useful to me. He has been in the same type of situation that I am in now -- a new car that could also be a winning car. But Mika's help is always useful and I listen to him carefully," the 27-year-old added.
