BRDC president Derick Warwick is convinced that a compromise will be made over the future of the British Grand Prix.
Silverstone holds a contract to host the event until 20126, but the owners are currently debating whether they should activate a break clause in the contract or not.
"Basically, we're in January, Bernie [Ecclestone] has nothing to talk about so he picked on Silverstone," Warwick said at the Autosport Show.
"We made a note to our members, giving them an update on Silverstone, a lot of [what] came out was that there was a possibility of activating the break clause before this year's event, for 2019."
Warwick reassured fans that there would definitely be a British Grand Prix up to 2019, and a deal will be worked out for a Grand Prix to keep the event in Britain.
"Don't worry, we 100 per cent have a Grand Prix for the next three years, up until 2019."
"I've got a feeling we can't do without the British Grand Prix, we can't do without Silverstone, some compromise will be made, either with Bernie, or Liberty [Media]."
"We've had meetings with Liberty and [Formula 1 Chairman] Chase Carey, he understands our dilemma, we understand that he still has to make money as that's what these guys are doing."
