Eric Boullier could switch to a full-time factory role with McLaren next year

That is the claim of Spain's Marca, following Ron Dennis' ousting last night.

The move also come after former Volkswagen Motorsport boss Jost Capito recently started work as McLaren's new F1 CEO.

Both roles could crossover, with Marca claiming it could mean the Frenchman does not attend all the races next year.

"In these times, and with 21 races, a single main team cannot do all of the work of a team," Boullier commented.

"We spend a lot of time away from home and if you need someone to stay at the factory, performing other tasks, then this is a role I already did in my day at Lotus," he added.
