Nico Hulkenberg has been taken out of the Singapore Grand Prix seconds from the race start.
The Force India driver was pulling to the right to avoid a slow-starting Max Verstappen when he was collected by Carlos Sainz who was also avoiding the sluggish Red Bull.
Hulkenberg's Force India was badly damaged in the incident which saw him laucnhed into the pit wall.
It was Hulkenberg's second consecutive retirement in Singapore after he hit the wall at turn three last year.
Nico gets hit from behind and put into the wall. He's ok but his race is over. #SingaporeGP
