Sauber have moved to sign former Haas strategist Ruth Bunscombe.
The Briton, who previously worked for Ferrari, has been with Haas since the start of the season, playing a part in the team's stellar sixth placed finish on their début in Australia and their fifth place finish in Bahrain - both courtesy of Romain Grosjean.
She will now join Sauber, becoming the Swiss team's second high profile signing since their takeover by Longbow finance. The team previously signed ex-Lotus man Nicolas Hennel de Beaupreau to be the team's head of aerodynamics.
"The Sauber F1 Team is pleased to confirm the appointment of Ruth Buscombe as new Strategy Engineer," the team said in a statement. "The 26-year old Briton will start to work for the Sauber F1 Team from the Malaysian Grand Prix onwards. Buscombe has worked for the Scuderia Ferrari F1 Team, as well as recently for the Haas F1 Team."
