Kimi Raikkonen topped the timesheets in final practice as Mercedes appeared to lack pace. Raikkonen set a 1 minute 47.974, two tenths ahead of nearest challenger Daniel Ricciardo.
Sebastian Vettel and Valtteri Bottas were third and fourth while Lewis Hamilton was fifth. Nico Hulkenberg was sixth and Nico Rosberg finished in a sluggish seventh position. Felipe Massa came across the line in eight.
Rounding out the final two positions in the top 10 were Sergio Perez and the Haas of Romain Grosjean.
