Before the start of the weekend in Hungary the two Williams drivers were optimistic that the problems of the last three races were resolved.
However, after today's two practice sessions Valtteri Bottas was left downbeat. Particularly on the super soft tire, the Williams FW38 does not appear to be performing well.
"Just like the last few races it seems difficult for us to be on the supersoft tire. We do not know what it is," he said. "On the soft tire it went much better and I was able to drive at a good pace. The improvements we've made to the car for this weekend seem to be working."
