Nico Rosberg has stopped on track with 22 minutes remaining of second practice for the European Grand Prix in Baku.
The German slowed, before radioing his team who advised him to park the car
"Problem with the drive and engine, please advise," said Rosberg.
"Stop, stop, stop" was the reply from the team.
Rosberg was running second, just under seven tenths of a second behind team mate Lewis Hamilton when he stopped.
Unlike Ricciardo's crash this morning, the incident did not cause the session to be stopped, with the session being placed under Virtual Safety Car conditions for three minutes before the session resumed.
Kimi Raikkonen also brought out the VSC in the final five minutes after locking up at turn five after a mechanical issue.
