Bernie Ecclestone has said that he hopes to see the Schumacher name return to motorsports pinnacle in the future in the form of Mick Schumacher.
Schumacher, 17, will compete in the FIA European Formula Three championship next year, which has proven to be a crucial learning curve for many future F1 drivers.
Asked by Germany's Sport Bild if he would like to see young Mick on the grid, Ecclestone answered: "If he is anywhere near as good as his father, why not?
"It would be good for formula one if the name Schumacher was with us again," he added.
